@Martin - If you want to use caps in the avatar you need to open up the cap picture in Photoshop, click and drag it into the avatar window. From there hold down CTRL + T to resize it. I'll make a full guide on this very soon but for now here's some basic instructions:

Also, don't forget you can resize the video layer if you want it smaller to fit with your caps. Hit CTRL + T with the video layer selected and drag the handles to make it smaller. Then position it where needed.

Jared & warriorsoul, try this just as a test:

Create up a new project at any size (File > New)

At the top menu go to Layer > Video Layers > New Video Layer From File


Once the file browser pops up, locate the folder where your frames are and double click the first one to open it up.


Now press play in the Animation Panel and let me know if it plays all the frames.


If that works i'll let you know what you need to do from there.

a bit confusing, i still don't know how to move the animation to another caps without making a warning..

i'm using animation shop 3 rite now, quite simple but it has less tools than Photoshop cs3

Martin - When I started Photoshop back in 2000 it must have taken me a full year to understand it, especially because Paint Shop Pro was so much easier to learn I kept going back. The problem was Paint Shop Pro didn't come close to giving me all the tools I needed so I forced myself to continue learning Photoshop.

It's the same with Animation Shop 3. Easy program but much more time consuming and much less you can do. Stick around for Part 2, i'll be explaining many more things than I did in part 1.

Lukitoo - Haha, that looks pretty good. I'm embarrassed that i'm a Kylie fan and never saw that video.
Why don't you try using different fonts? Also, select the font layer and at the top menu go to Layer > Layer Styles > Stroke. In the new window that pops up, choose black for the color instead of the default red and change "Stoke Size" to 1px. Click ok and see if that helps.
