I don't know dude. I was definetly around for Vato's demotion and I don't remember feeling half the impact Umi caused with his permaban. Umi caused multiple bans, multiple warning points, his own permaban and 20+ pages and a thread devoted to him. Kind of iconic if you ask me.

Shane!, a Fall Out Boy stan and very prominent member during 2006/early 2007, was chosen as a mod along with 2 or 3 other people whose names I can't remember. So what is the first thing he does as a mod? He starts deleting hundreds of posts, dozens of threads, merging threads all over the place, until he eventually merges ALL OF ATRL into one giant thread, which obviously caused the database to collapse into a chaos that we nearly didn't recover from, until Queen TC (former admin) came and saved the day. Shane got permabanned the next day
