When I think of "old Mariah" I think of her power ballads like Hero, My All and Without You, or her pop songs like Always Be My Baby, Fantasy and Dreamlover. WBT is more like a smooth R&B song, kinda like The Roof but less laid back. But I definitely don't see it as traditional Mariah. I guess it's subjective though.
