Ok @ you, only a fake fan would be not trusting her with her OWN career and trying to act as if they are EXPERTS on The Flaming Lips (who, by the way, always are acclaimed and that's VERY shallowly subjective and cringe-inducingly one-sided saying they only make "loud annoying" music )
More than making generic Pop music, Kesha needs to prove herself. It's what she wants, and it's what everyone should know about her. So.

how will an album change people's minds if they don't even hear the album?

Avid music fans that would bother is ATRL-type fans, which generally are only here for for her dance/music stuff

And if the GP follows what critics say, then why are there far less album sales for Warrior then there is for Animal?
AND DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME A FAKE FAN.. I am not saying I dont trust her or her career choices.. She can do whatever she likes.. But if you actually want to ignore all of the issues that comes with flop albums, flop singles, and a flop career, then you are in for a RUDE awakening. If she gets to the point where she is a total flop, then she could end up like many of the pop artist that takes years and years and years to release an album. Artists that don't tour.. artists that disappear... I don't want this because I WANT HER TO BE HAPPY... She won't be happy if her label keeps delaying her album and singles and limit her interactions with music. If she wants the full freedom, she needs to find her shtick that works.. I want her to find it, and maybe this will give her a good perspective. But let's not act like it will change her career path
If Ke$ha wants to prove herself by proving to the GP that she can make something with meaning and dept and artistry, then she needs to do so in the vain of last goodbye/animal, not past lives/2012 .. And her rock shtick won't prove too much unless it's a reinventing type of rock integrated with what she knows..
She can do wonders if she accepts that she is still a pop artists, and makes a combination of what she wants and what we want. PAARDH and TOY ar 2 songs that comes close to the direction that I think would work best for her.. But we shall see what she will do next..
I think I might have gone off topic to your comment collin

But really.. the flaming lips might be acclaimed, but their audience aren't going to buy Ke$ha's album... We need her first single for her next album to make the impact that she wants, not this lip$ha side project that will be a non-event other then the fan base (that might alienate some more fans)
Edit: Kiss N Tell is a mess.. he has been threatening to leave the stanbase forEVER.. Don't worry about his empty words...
And I know you must hate me a lot recently collin.. I really don't hate you at all.. I still like the discussions.. I hope you never take anything personally
