Also, Music Box (title track) is one of MC's sweetest, most intimate tracks. Don't @ me!
Because it's corny, but its corniness isn't redeemed by anything since the music is so basic. It's similar in message to MIH, but MIH is a BOP and Hero just lays there.
Music Box is really an underrated album critical wise. If Metacritic scored it, it would've been a 60 (check my thread). Just cuz she wasn't as powerful on the songs, doesn't mean she was lazy!! Her voice matched the songs, and the ballads were supreme, especially All I've Ever Wanted!!!
