X-Factor star Ella Henderson has been inundated with requests from American film companies to use her music on their movies.
The star, who shot to fame on the X-Factor two years ago, has also been offered lucrative deals with TV shows who also want to feature her songs after signing up with Colombia Records in the States.
Now the contracts, which are currently being negotiated by Ella’s management team, are set to launch her into a huge star in the US as that is currently the way of breaking new acts over there.
A source close to Ella, 17, who today releases her debut single, Ghost, said: “She’s about to hit the big time. She has already been signed to Colombia to release her album out in the States later this year and now now major television networks and film studios have shown an interest in Ella’s songs placed on film and TV shows which is a big way to break artists now. The reaction to her music in the US from producers on dramas is incredible. She has been inundated with different offers, all of which are pretty lucrative.
“She is undoubtedly going to be the next Brit to break America, there are lots of excited people in her camp. It’s really unbelievable, it is a dream come true for Ella.”
