Cher Lloyd Announces Movie Debut: "Show Girl"
20Th century fox announced today a new musical movie out May 25th called "Show Girl" starring i the first role Cher Lloyd. She stars as a young ambitious singer/dancer gaining a big amount of enemies when entering the business. Look down for the Synopsis.
Synopsis:
Ember Ivory (Cher Lloyd) is a very ambitious young girl. She has big shows dreams and keeps on appearing in small plays and musicals in her small city. She just turned 18, but her parents are still very protective and don’t let her go to a big city to pursue her dreams. One day, while her parents are out of town she decided to run away with her best friend Mia Rain (Megan Fox) to Los Angeles. They manage to arrive there by seducing a boy to drive them there for a one night stand. In Los Angeles Cher decides to start playing in a few shows. But her enemies are becoming more and more dangerous, trying to poison her one time to stop her from going to one of her shows. Besides that Mia starts falling for drugs and alcohol and goes into depression so Ember tries to help her. One man, Greg Ken (Ewan McGregor) sees Ember as a very big enemy for his lounge, The Luxior, since Ember decided to play for a competitor of the Luxior. He sees her at one of her shows and realizes her great talent, and decided to stop her from succeeding her dreams….
The Movie will premier in New York City on May 25th. Cher Lloyd already had talked back during the "B.I.T.C.H" era that she was working on appearing in her first movie.
The movie's soundtrack's cover is yet to be revealed. Cher sang the full soundtrack.
