Hey! anyone care to give me their opinion on this?

I haven't written a song in quite a while (been writing lots of prose tho), and this just came to mind, I just kinda doubt myself at first with songs when they come so out of the blue
/Verse 1/
are we strangers or just stranded lovers?
chasing sweet nothing forevermore
our young hearts, are they ever sober?
drunk kisses poured over motel floors
/pre-chorus 1/
wine ripples in your veins
numb the love to numb the pain
/chorus/
it's every young lover's plight
love, we never get it right
a new bad habit every night
collecting a new lost fight
/Verse 2/
gone by morning, you left me like a regret
what a feeling to know so well
all my bruises burn like my cigarette
now this room feels like a cell
/pre-chorus 2/
the whiskey tides in your soul
made me lose control
/chorus/
it's every young lover's plight
love, we never get it right
a new bad habit every night
collecting a new lost fight
/bridge/
I toss and turn,
they watch me burn,
is this the love I've earned?
/chorus/
it's every young lover's plight
love, we never get it right
a new bad habit every night
collecting a new lost fight
/bridge/
I toss and turn,
they watch me burn,
is this the love I've earned?
