If she did it intentionally, I don't mind it. If it was a blunder, I think she covered it up well enough. She didn't do any "breujgfb", she just did a pause and said peak. No big deal.

It makes me laugh that "best ones made it" when there's still some... questionable songs on PRISM. Like I'm kind of glad we didn't get the outtakes. Also if will.i.am was involved with Bad Photographs, I'm glad that wasn't on the final track list. It's probably some Britney Jean-level trash a la Passenger.

Exactly. Meghan Trainor's three pre-Title albums... nobody cares about those. 'Title' is Meghan's debut as it's her first album released through a major label with some kind of budget. 'Katy Hudson', being released under a different name aside, wasn't a major label release.

Same goes for Lana's 'Born To Die' and her many pre-fame releases... 'Sirens' (May Jailer), 'Lana Del Ray A.K.A. Lizzy Grant', 'Kill Kill' etc.

Yes, she gave Black Widow to Iggy before its completion because she thought it was a good fit for her. Not sure about GOYK, but it was probably the same situation. Looks like she only picked the best of the bunch, Dark Horse, for her own album. She made the right choice.

It takes more than just time and hard work to write a song, let alone 100+. Carly's situation was different because she honestly had nothing to lose or nothing to do after Kiss dropped... she had the majority of 2013, 2014 and the first half of 2015 to write, rest, write, collect new experiences, write about those etc. without having to tour, worry about the media, having her label on her back etc. Katy is a much more high profile artist and she definitely won't ever be given the opportunity to write that many songs for 90% of them to be rejected.

I'm actually surprised that she wrote as many as 26 songs for PRISM. Didn't she only write 16 for Teenage Dream?
