I don't mind YR, I purchased the day it came out on iTunes hihi, but not as a single. That was supposed to be her big break and she came with that. Well i'm glad she took them off the album tbh, she needs to start again with a whole new slate, the only song she should put on the album is 212.

Royals would NOT have been a hit without Roar (and then Boom Clap, etc). Roar opened up radio (with more than 200M AI) to playing more alternative sounding music.

True. Because the critics love her and I'm pretty sure that if she doesn't make an album full of ATM Jam's it'll probably remain in the 70s or 80s on metacritic.
