Watch Vanessa Hudgens new commercial.
The new 1m01 long commercial of Nike Free Run starring Vanessa Hudgens and features her single Can't Forget You. The video is 90's inspired, gritty, with a vision of crazy lights and colors, shows Vanessa running at the beginning then having a party with her friends in a place looking like a basement.
The 24-year-old singer also directed the video for NIKE, saying, "It's empowering to work with people who know what they want."

 Introduction Picture this. Selena Gomez allows you to follow her around for a day as part of a special edition of Forbes. You think as soon as you start the day you'll be in photoshoots and recording studios right? Wrong. I met Selena at her house at about 8:00. She steps out of the room and calls manager Kim Kardashian. About 20 minutes later Kim arrives with a folder. She hands it too the woman who seems to be in charge and says "This is what we want.". After about 20 minutes of debate, Kim and Selena get the people at Billboard too agree to re-shoot the cover and raise Selena's cut from 11,000 to 28,000."

Vanessa Hudgens interviewed and performed on the show Newbies
Vanessa was on the Newbies show Sunday, and she talked about her current single, her upcoming album, her friendships in the business and other topics.
On her single:
Can't Forget You is one of the song, that I knew I wanted in my album and as a single when I recorded it. Azealia & I, actually recorded the track without any negotiations or spoken words between our labels. She is an artist that I wanted to work with, cause she's just genius and so cool. This song is probably the song that will help you to wait for the summer, it's so Pop, but Urban with that Electro-Funk and Dance Beat. It's just so damn good and entertaining to not go on the dancefloor.
On her album:
The album is everything I wanted it to be, it's really Pop and Dance. Rock Mafia & Dj EZ are the executives producers, it has a lot of Electro and Garage influences. I wanted to work with producers to create more pop songs, like The Runners, Chuck Harmony, Rock Mafia & MNEK but I mostly worked with DJs. Calvin Harris, The Wideboys, Boys Noize, Diplo, Machinedrum and others...
The process of this album was a bit strange cause we didn't know how most of the songs would sound like until the very end, when DJ EZ mixed them. It's all mix, and all blend to give a progression and line for the album. I like it cause you can listen to it without skipping a song.
On her NIKE partnership:
I think I have the best contract in the world with them, cause every single I will release, I will shot and direct a commercial for them with the song featured in it. The money of those commercials are going for the NIKE Free Run Project and it's actually helping a lot the promotions of my singles.
Her Friendship in the business:
I have a lot of contacts, but only a few close friends in the business. Chris (Brown), Selena (Gomez), Ashley (Tisdale) & Azealia (Banks) are my gang. I know there is some tension between some of them, but I get along with them, love & respect them.
On her future project:
Well I have nothing plan yet, except my album dropping May 20. And be the opening act for Chris Tour in the US only.
Vanessa was joined by Azealia Banks to give an energetic performance of Can't Foreget You.
