You may not have heard of Nina Simone, but you will know artists influenced by her. A ridiculous amount of modern musicians cite her as an influence. Only the High Priestess of Soul.
I agree, as a Céline fan, her influence is drastically smaller in comparison to her peers.

I only know Lara and Rihanna from the list and the latter is obviously not influenced musically.

If you have chrome it can automatically translate for you
"Inspired by celine, whitney, mariah, shania. I love reggae music but the music I'm most inspired by is ballads, I know sad love songs"
Also Celine is literally just 2 million away from being the best selling female artist in the US, so she's definitely not irrelevant there either.(of soundscan era)

yeah but you can't hear Celine in her music, she did grow up to Celine's music as well as Whitney's, Mariah's and Bob Marley's but you can't really hear any influence by Celine in Rihanna's music or image.

In terms of certified sales Celine is at 50 million and Barbra is at 72.5 million.
Does anyone have a link to listen to the version of One Last Time with the rap feature they're using in Italy? I honestly can't imagine what OLT would sound like with a rapper on it.
