Solid album, some hits, some misses... but it's better than i expected from the snippets. Ciara is better tho, but Jackie is a good album.

Easily her best album. SO MANY potential singles

From what people are saying, it confirms what I thought about the snippets which was underwhelming.

This album may isolate the people who started supporting her again with Ciara (self titled). Hopefully, she spawns hits from this clearly pop geared album. If she doesn't, she's risking another bad era and essentially a waste of time when she could have put out another strong Urban/R&B album with a one or two pop ready hits and done better overall with Urban supporting fully and Pop radio starting to support her again.

Only time will tell though. I wish her good luck with this and can't wait to hear the full album on May 4th since I don't do leaks.

I don't see how she is looking for pop hits when her lead single was traditional RnB. I just don't understand her. She's clearly been given too much decision making power in her career because everyone knows that RnB songs will not bring single success and generic pop songs will not bring album success. She did this whole era upside down. Whatever happens here on after, she has brought it upon herself.
