The excuses in here. Fox's 1 of the top 4 networks, even people without cable have the channel. If American Idol can get 30 million viewers, and the SuperBowl can get over 100 million on the channel, clearly shows you pretty much anyone with a tv's got Fox.

Anyways looks like the show's getting canceled soon since Fox ordered a rush finale -

FOX has ordered rush finals and Scream Queens was adjusted up to a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating.
