I've been listening a song per day since it leaked, and I'm in love with the production of this album.

• Blue is absolute pop perfection. It sounds like the Charli XCX version of Carly Rae Jepsen's Tiny Little Blows.
• Forget seems like the response to Marina's last two albums; it reminds me of an updated version of Scab & Plaster. I love the Lies reference at the end.
• Gold is kinda boring to me. I was sad when she cut out the "girls just wanna have fund$" lyric.
• Can't Pin Me Down seems like a Lily Allen track, but done better.

Blue is a good song but it's not THAT good and definitely not the best from the album. The trinity for me is clearly Forget, Savages and Solitaire, if I exclude the Froot of the Month tracks.

I think the tracklist is flawless.

Forget is the only song that hasn't really clicked with me yet, but I'm hoping with repeated listening I'll understand the appeal. It's not bad, just a bit pedestrian.

Never really got into it, even tho I LOVE the first part of the song. If it was a ballad it would have been one of my favourites. Still a great album track.

FROOT - 9
This song is perfection, seriously. Nothing more, nothing less. One of the best songs on the album.

I'm a Ruin - 8.5
Ever since it was announced, I was CRAVING this song. I mean, the title is pretty amazing. And she didn't disappoint me. Not my favourite, but close

Blue - 8
Catchiest song on the album, she should def. release it as a single. Even if it's so catchy, it's still good and different from the rest.

Forget - 7.5
At first I hated the chorus, it kinda ruined the song for me. Now I'm getting used to it, even it I honestly think it would have been ways better with a different chorus. The verses are really reallt good.

Gold - 7.5
I don't get all the hate for this song, it's soo good. It's like the perfect song to listen in July. Maybe the chorus is a little weak, but who cares, I'm in love with this song

Can't Pin Me Down - 7.5
I didn't really liked it at first, but now I'm starting to love it. It's very different from the rest, and it kinda makes me sad, I don't know why. I think that I need more time with that.

Solitaire - 10 (verses)/ 4 (chorus)
This song is such a disappointment. The verses are HUGE, but the chorus is just EEW. Imagine this song with a darker, deeper chorus. It could have been Marina's best song. But, instead, we have the terrible 'So - li - tarie, something you consider ra - re'. I mean, Marina, WTH?!

Better Than That - 7.5
I loved it at first, but now I'm not really feeling it anymore. It's not bad at all, but the lyrics are so strange. I don't know, I need to listen again and again to give a final judgement.

Weeds - 7.5
I really don't know how to feel about this one. One day I hate it, the next I love it. I totally need more time, but for the moment I'd say it's pretty trivial.

Savages - 9.5
My favourite song. This is just perfection, one of her best songs. The lyrics, the production, her voice... I love everything about it. Thank you Marina for such a wonderful track.

Immortal - 9.5
Probably the best song on this record. I love everything about it.

Overall - 8

But this is a first + second listen rating. I'll do a second one when the .m4a version of the album will be available.
