Mess at making one two-sentence comment qualifying as "upset."
This thread was open for over two weeks with barely any interest in the reviews. At the last minute, a sudden surge of Katy Perry fans showed up to give "Rise" 10/10 reviews and drag "Make Me..." (because, what, these reviews are a competition or something?). I'm not saying it was a conspiracy. It's just, you know, interesting.
Anyway, troll votes get thrown out of rates all the time. Perhaps they need to be thrown out of ATRL Metacritic too to keep the thread from devolving into a stan war in the future.
Some Kats are embarrassing. The way they rate Make Me... just to level it down. Plus they gave Rise a perfect score. A perfect score?! Haha. I'm a Britney stan but I wouldn't dare to give it a a perfect score.
Mess at people getting this riled up over a freaking game. Grow up.

If you looked outside that fan base, it looks as if Britney's 'Make Me' is quite well received and a lot of people enjoyed the single, and find it one of her best releases in years.
Without the Kats, Make Me was going to get a score over 90. Cmon now, that's not realistic at all.
The mixed score it ended up receiving is a better reflection of the song's quality.
