She needed to strike while her name was still hot. To take that long of a hiatus in today's music climate is a big no-no. Although she had a big debut, her star power wasn't yet big enough for her to escape the scene for almost 2 years.

seriously. a 2 year break is like a decade for a pop star especially if you're a new-comer. i'm sure they'll learn from warrior's sales this time around and have her release a new album soon
Her hiatus definitely was too long, but I still feel like she doesn't deserve to be doing this poorly just because she was out of the limelight for a year longer than she probably should have been. The era thus far has had a very underwhelming reception and the tide doesn't seem to be turning. It feels so unjust.
