Well, I have Photoshop technically. It's just a more compressed version of it that doesn't take up a lot of space. I only really need it to make the occasional avatar and funny edit. If I wanted to make Tumblr edits or anything like that though they'd probably end up looking terrible. I think the only thing I'm missing is a few functions like bridge, opening raw videos etc. Other than those useless features no one uses, I have everything else in CS5.

I may just ask you to make my avs from now on though.

Do NOT import it using that method. Just open the video file using Photoshop.

This way opens up so many additional options.

It is so vastly quicker and easier in every way once you get used to it.



The only time I ever open up a gif in the frames view is when I want to adjust the timing on specific frames.

There are some advantages to the frame view.

You can only make curved edges on gifs on that side as far as I know.


.....but there is no reason not to use both. Make the gif using video.... them finish it up in frame view.
