I doubt it. Adele does just say stuff sometimes, but she has mentioned both SML and WUTB to that effect. They'll want to keep the album around for Grammys voting as well as another round of holiday sales. 1989, the third biggest numerically-titled album this decade, actually didn't have a new single from early February to mid-May. Style somewhat underperformed then Bad Blood was huge, executed with a peak time last year almost identical to when Adele will be headlining Glasto this year...could be what they're going for. The difference is that TS was more in people's faces in-between than Adele is or wants to be...
On my comp. it says the most recent release is the WWWY single, the disclaimer message that 25's not on Spotify yet and shows no artwork, but then lists the 25 songs (that I have in iTunes) and lets me play them. On my phone, the same except no disclaimer and 25 (which there I have in my Music app) can show as playing but there's no sound. Then tried it on an old phone that has Spotify downloaded but no 25 in Music, same results as phone that has it.

They still have time to announce it and such. I wouldn't worry as much because I think SML will increase a bit slower than WWWY did. What they need to do though is have a video this time. If they don't then SML will struggle.

No, I agree entirely. I think you're absolutely right. I think with "When We Were Young," the issue was that it was getting played WAY too prematurely. It started getting airplay right after she performed on SNL, and then it picked up after Columbia confirmed it would be the next single. However, they did that in December, and then didn't officially release it until February, so they really f**ked up there. I don't want them doing that again. Between that and the fact that there was no video (not to mention the video we did get for "When We Were Young" was released in November before it was even a single, and it was just a live performance), "When We Were Young" was destined to underperform considering how well we all thought and hoped it would do. They cannot do that to her again.
