What did "Back to the Future II" get wrong and right about 2015? The futurists weigh in — http://bit.ly/1xuxwSr
Quote:
Glen Hiemstra: The thing they got really right was big flat wall screens everywhere that you could talk to. Those pretty much didn’t exist in the late ’80s. There were no flat screens!
Michael Rogers: Large screen displays. Consider that a 24” LCD television cost $3,000 in 2005, and now costs about $159.
Poor stupid people in 2005 paying $3000 for a television.
Poor stupid people in 2015 paying $3000 for a 4K/8K television when it will be $159 in a few years.
Kanye is slowly turning into Eminem, in that a once incredibly talented man known for pushing boundaries within his music is now becoming more banal and standard with time and his wow factor is shrinking exponentially corresponding to his artistic dwindling.
Sad. Ah well, he hasn't had a really good album since 808's & Heartbreak. Sorry, but My Hideous Dark Askew Wedding Vow is BORING (aside from All of the Lights).
