That's why I'm saying she needs to widen her appeal to broaden her reach. She can't keep singing to Females, pop fans and caucasians when Hip Hop is dominated by Males. She has to appeal to them. LAN is not helping her stance either and I never said they supported her before.

Honestly image is important and alot of people during the PF era thought she was an oversexual kim for the new generation/a stripper rapper so they wouldn't support her.
Then during PFRR they thought she was a black lady gaga.

If she shows a more organic, relatable to HER generation and not just selling to the kids and teens (you all don't get that because that includes you) she WILL expand her base because people (whether accurate or not) look at is as if she has either outgrown the antics, evolved as a person or realized that the gimmicks don't lead to longevity and will feel as though she is changing to appeal to them. The GP likes when they feel celebs are catering to them.

She doesn't have to appeal to them. She wouldn't have dropped LAN if she were, especially since LAN applies to most of those Hip-Hop male fans. Hence why females were the one who praised it.

The entire album isn't going to sound like LAN either, nor will it be 110% Hip-Hop. There's a reason why she didn't want to put a label on it when asked about the music in that Shade 45 interview.

If they were never going to support a Nicki Minaj album to begin with, there's no point in their opinions on it. They can have one, but there's no point.

It'll be like me hating Iggy and saying "how dare she name her album The New Classic. As if it'll be a classic with her ****** ass", when I was never going to purchase the album I begin with (I am buying TNC tho).

I haven’t had faith in this girl (Rap wise, not that “Barbs” ****) Since she jacked the beat for “Warning” and her output” in 2010.

I know there will be some pop joints on the album. Or, “Trailer for the Album” songs as I call them. But, hopefully she keeps it 85% rap on this one.

I always said this chick could rap and always kept hope alive……. And, I still feel the same for Wayne. Even if his Direction and Path isn’t made for the Greats at this point.

Um, I know of some people that question Nicki's talent...yeah they went that far but praised LAN because she spoke to them about some real stuff AND she looked more relatable and less cartoonish.
You are really good at your audience but you need to listen to Jessica even if you don't listen to me...college audience wants something different and a career person that loves hip hop doesn't want to openly associate with Starships bs they want something organic and relatable to either say that's my ish or I'm not a big Nicki fan but she killed that or I wasn't a fan of her **** star schtick or her black lady gaga schtick but she is either evolving or being smart enough to take all that stuff away and I like her new look and everything...

I'm well aware of what you're saying. Never once in the past three pages have I disagreed. I said she doesn't have to.

There's a Pop producer that's working on this album that I'm sure will surprise many, who think she's done with Pop
