Although I prefer GaGa to Bowie, only a fool would believe they are on the same level of creativity. If she is the female Bowie then it's because of how much of his work and his image that she recycled. I remember when GaGa first came out and my father couldn't stand her because he said that she was copying Bowie and trying way too hard to mimic him. He's a hardcore Bowie stan and was alive during his prime, so I believe him. He does like GaGa more now though because he knows now that she has acknowledged him for 'influencing' her and she has come more into her own now and no longer replicates Bowie.
