Review
Walk The Line-
7/10- Stong opener it reminds people she's a rap artist but it sounds like the first version of Work that didn't get released. I love her underdog type of lyricism in this
Don't Need Yall -
10/10- This is her Drake-esque song , and I love it. I love the echo in the back. The song is so smooth and will really make you want to listen to Iggy's story and how she feels about the fame. It's so different from all her usual ratchet anthems
100-
9/10- Song is a bop!! That guitar just adds to it and also the way Iggy rides the beat. It reminds me of a Trina track, thats how bad of a bitch this song is. It's like a song you ride to when you wanna feel like a bad bitch when your with your man/woman
Change Your Life-
6/10 - I feel indifferent about the song its not a bad song , and I liked it when I heard it awhile ago but now once I hear it compared to the rest of the album it feels so basic and generic
Fancy-
8/10- This song is becoming a hit !! And I love the chanting chorus and Charli just adds the extra flavor to the song, and plus its like classic Iggy from her Ignorant Art days and gives us a taste of her ratchetness in a way.
New Bitch-
8/10- A perfect anthem for all the main bitches who used to be side bitches . It has such a summery feel to it and it needs to be a single
Work-
9/10- Song is like Iggy explaining her stuggles to all these hater ass bitches who don't know her life and handling it like a real chick. Plus it twerkable , which I love because usually you can't dance to songs with deep lyrics like this
Impossible is Nothing-
5/10- It's like a track Iggy tried to prove that she could rap on and I feel it's Eminem-ish vibe to it but this song does nothing for the album even though its supposed to be that uprising/empowering song of the album it just lacks something...
Goddess-
9/10- Iggy proves that she isn't just a gimmick and is really about this rap life. Shes showing you guys shes the truth and that she really wants to do this. This Kanye-esque hard spitting track makes you want to really bow down to Iggy. It's like the song Iggy would march to her throne to or a song she'd open/close her tour with if you know what I mean.
Black Widow 6.5/10- This is just so eh... to me. I know it's a fan fave but it just does nothing for me but give the song a Rita Ora feature. With this song title I'd expect a track more male bashing a bit and a little more hardcore
Lady Parta-
7/10- Song is like a hidden gem like I can tell people will skip this song but it's soooo good. I love how diverse she made the album , like a white girl using a patios accent? SLAY Iggy. Mavado helps add the Island flavor to it.
F#ck Love-
10/10 - ........
[I]
Bounce/I]-
5/10- Not a big fan of the song, it just doesn't fit on the album. But I guess its a song for the pop fans out there. It's not a bad song either a perfect gay night club dance song but nothing special.
Rolex-
7/10- This song gives a little insight on her relationship with A$AP Rocky a bit. It's not a very deep song but it still gets her point across its okay but nothing special.
Just Askin-
10/10- MASTERPIECE. This song is just sounds so fresh and so Iggy. it sounds so chill and kinda give you butterflies. I love how Iggy doesn't sound like shes rapping just sound like shes talking so effortless..like she just asking..
Overall:
8/10 This album is so solid , not only for Iggy, but just a new artist in general. The album transitions well and there's not alot of horrible tracks for people to bash so its an overall great album.
