Glad it's back on the right.
I said it before and I'll say it again.
On first listen I liked it but didn't love it.
I love it now but that's because I gave it a chance.
She's coming off of a backlash era.
She's making the right moves with Ellen and radio tour and this might peak during her album release week.
That said this might end up serving as her work and sell better overtime IF she has two or three smash songs to follow this up.
People are warming up to her and I'm not hearing that many bad reviews
Team is the perfect intro message and she's putting in that work work work work to get herself back in the good graces again.
She needs fire instantaneous smash hits in order for team to turn into her work/it's like that/beautiful/me against the music.
3 day weekend and middle man snippets give me hope.

All that said I'm glad it's back on the rise.
And hopefully this can end up top 30 peak but more so top 20/10 if things align in her favor

I'm pretty sure there won't be any "fire instantaneous smash hits" this era. That's just not where she's at, which is fine. I'm hoping that they have some new tactics to sell/stream the album rather than just singles.

The decline for Iggy on Rhythmic.. it's hard to believe that used to be her best format

Well since 2014 it changed. It's much more urban oriented now. It's basically Urban 2.0.

Only format showing some kind of support is pop and Middle Man would flop there, so i dont see how it could smash unless there is black rapper feature which would give it Urban and Rhythmic support

still obsessed with the song! but i was thinking..... this song reminds me of change your life , great song but maybe not so radio-friendly , even if great for clubs.....hoping i'm wrong , i'm glad anyway people are supporting it even without initial(i hope) radio support
