The music-infused family film will earn an estimated $13.5 million for the day, putting in on course for a strong $50 million-plus debut in a needed win for Jeffrey Katzenberg's DreamWorks Animation. Home will have no trouble trumping Get Hard, the new R-rated comedy starring Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart.

Home will mark one of the best showings ever for an original title from DWA, not accounting for inflation, besting the $46 million debut of Megamind in 2010.

As much as I love BBHMM i don't want it to go number 1. It doesn't deserve to sit w the greatness that is Diamonds, WFL, Umbrella but then again neither does Only Girl . A top 5(#2 or 3) peak would be more than amazing

Because there's not one single theaters who plays animation in original version around here and i live in a pretty big metropole
They play tons of movies in OV but never animation

Anyway it wasn't bad, the kids loved it, even my sister joined us at the last minute and she stanned for Oh
The landscapes were really stunning, some scenes full of heart
DITD sound even better during the movie

Other than that lemme keep it cute , i have pretty high standards for Animation

As much as I love the songs she recorded for the soundtrack, I'm glad they didn't push any of them. She should focus on R8 musically imo. Of course things could have been a little less mesy regarding HOME's music but I don't think it will be a big issue in the long run.
