All these charts are so different now in regards to records. It's really difficult to compare past eras now.
The genre charts are completely different now, and the records aren't really as impressive. Like these songs that keep going #1 or 20 weeks on the Rock/Rap/R&B charts when they become huge mainstream hits...
I know the way they measure the genre charts makes more sense now, but I preferred when it was airplay-only because it was the 50 biggest singles in the genre that the community was hearing. Now it's the same song at #1 for 20 weeks, and an artist with 15 songs in it. Kinda weird.
And these songs that actually get no support from community that listens to genre but go #1 (Flo Rida on Rap Charts)...
I just want to say, Stressed Out grew on me a LOT. It went from "the worst piece of music i have ever heard" to "pretty bad". I think 7 Years is so bad it makes SO look better in comparation.

Yeah every big hit spends double digit weeks at #1 always on those charts. And it's always the same 5 big name artists. I dont see them going back to the old way and the new way does make sense but yeah, the rap community is not bopping to My House even if it is technically a rap song.
Video streaming seems to be on Rihanna's side this week. I'm surprised 'cause I thought it was going to keep falling hard, but especially this week has been great

The new genre charts are pointless. And the way that BB classifies the songs makes them even worse.
