The general public is still so unfamiliar with Rockstar 101. I have a feeling this will surprise everyone and take off when a big station like KIIS or 92.3 NOW spins it. Eventually one of the bigger stations will add it. I totally see a performance with Slash skyrocketing this to the top ten on iTunes.

Girl stop playing. You know as well as anyone else that nothing can revive Rockstar 101. With a performance on American Idol and a music video with over 12 million views and almost top 50 on radio, we can safely assume the general public knows this song. It just didn't catch fire. I don't expect it too anytime soon either

American Idol was done 2 months before the song was released to radio, not to mention the demographic of American Idol is not Rihanna's core audience. Secondly, an online-only video isn't gonna magically skyrocket a song, since it has not been sent to tv stations in the U.S. And its almost top 50 on radio with less than 2 million daily listeners. Like i said, the great majority of America has not heard Rockstar 101 yet.

I want this song to smash, but its doing too much too early. For example, Eminem's next single is 'No Love'. That's gonna stretch out for about 3 months. Love The Way You Lie growing this fast on radio will probably have already peaked on radio, before its officially released.

But i'll be happy as long as it debuts top ten, giving Rihanna her 15th
