oh my god
Congrats Adele, she deserves this so much. I just watched that Live in London and she seems like the sweetest, down-to-earth person. 25 is such a great album too
The more I think about the conditions of the industry and the records that Adele is poised to break, the more impressed I become. It's absolutely gobsmacking.
Poor Army their final receipt to the queen of pop claim.
dddddd poor us indeed! Our fave kept a record for 15 years that none of her peers came close to snatching. Britney doesn't need this record to prove her legendary status. Funny how you don't seem to care about Eminem's or Nsync's record being snatched though. Stop being pressed!

Don't listen to them. I think The Army have handled this unbelievably graciously.
I don't think more shipments are needed this week. It's still under 1M physical copies sold.
Columbia better get some more copies shipped by Friday tho.
Still, she's going to easily beat Utada's record at this rate Maybe she'll come for BSB's global record as well (supposedly Black & Blue sold 5 million- this could just be shipped tho)?
If these #'s hold up, it's tough to predict how high she'll go and this is probably why HDD and BB are treading lightly: It's either she starts tapering down in sales day by day or keeps pushing copies at a steady rate.
If she did 1.5M Friday, 400k Saturday, who's to say she didn't push another 200k- 300k Sunday (For ex. approx. 7M ppl watch SNL), and maybe 200k on Monday, with it tapering off till the end of the tracking week? And what if she keeps up w/ a steady 300k per day until Thursday? Or if she get's a huge ass surge on Thanksgiving or even 5hrs before the tracking week ends?
