Can I point out that this had NO radio play before today, and has no music video yet. It was unavailable to stream anywhere until yesterday and pre-orders were only fuelled by those who knew it was coming out; aka only those who interact with her on twitter.
Literally no one knew about this until the ASDA adverts which only gave 15 seconds of the song. No radio, no music video. With more radio plays, the music video and the performance, she actually could hit #1 on iTunes. I wouldn't say it's impossible. #2 is guaranteed.
I think it'll get a huge X Factor performance boost too given how well her Uptown Funk performance last year did on iTunes
