1) I know this song but can't think of who this is. This song is a bit sloppy and to my ears and almost annoying at times but I like it ok.
2) This song is in Spanish. I know this artist too but can't think of who it is...
3) Hmm. Reggae is one of the two genres I can't do... I wasn't feeling it much. Just the singer repeating Mary Jane over and over. The change-up and the end was kind of cool.
4) This singer's voice is annoying and does not work with electro-pop. I had to resist every urge to skip this.
5) This song had me at: "I want to shop for your underwear" Hooked me immediately, my favorite so far. Sounds like an updated 2006 era Timbaland song.
6) I immediately knew who this artist was. Not sure whether I hate this song or not. I'll listen some more and it will come to me. Enjoy the suspense whoever sent this one in!
7) Nice to hear an older song. Great artist, one that I need to listen to more often in all honesty.

I have my initial thoughts written down, but I want to listen once more. I know all the songs minus 2, so I won't have to listen 3 / 4 times like I did for round 1!

Btw, I was much nicer than I've hinted so far. I usually rate the tracks before ranking them and I think there's only one song below 6. But there are soooooooooooooooo many 7's

Song 1: I like this a lot, lemme add it on Spotify right now
Song 2: Now, I do like songs that are in Spanish, however the man, the drums and the instruments were just a bit off
Song 3: I can't remember this song from her album, but the vibe is great, the start had me feeling "Oh oh what is this"
Song 4: Wow the chorus is a bit loud, her voice get's shadowed... It's alright, nothing memorable.

Song 6: It's okay, that's all I can say.
Song 7: Because it's Queen I feel like I have to say it's good, but it's not bad, it's just okay.
Song 8: I was hoping it would be a nice relaxing ballad of sorts, but it felt like it dragged on.
Song 9: Another bop, finally! Yess, over rated, but great!
Song 10: Oh hi Bruno, pretty good, I was tapping my leg, moving my head a bit.
Song 11: I like this... A LOT.
Song 12: My favourite song off her album.

8) Nobody gets things right like this artist when this artist gets things right. I could listen all day.
9) Anyone think this artist sounds a lot like the artist of song 4 vocally at least. Ok. I can't help but love this a little bit (the little rap with the M-Train line literally made me laugh out loud. Help me )

11) I was going to call this song borderline generic; but, that would be a disservice to this artist who has enough charisma and quirks to elevate this above generic. It's ok all being said.
12) See now, I like how this artist takes these retro sounds freshens them up a bit. I also find it very clever that this artist uses a style so closely tied with conservatism and uses it for a song about one-night-stands. Job well done song sender.
13) Unfortunately when two people send the same artist, you can't help but compare the entries. I like this song much more.
14) The third song from this artist by my count. This is also my least favorite entry from this artist (still solid though).

15) Pretty much the greatest song of all time! That creeping Indian inspired (Bhangra) beat in the beginning of the song, the way he switches up his vocal delivery constantly, the way the song dissolves and is thrown into an outer space disco during the second half, even the crickets chirping around 3:30! This song is everything. I'll fight anybody that challenges me on this one.
16) I kind of like the quirky and slightly dark production here. I do think that the songwriting could be sharper (the song is a bit repetitive), but this is solid.
17) This artist has a nice voice. I'm a sucker for some nice strings in a song too. Well-played.
18) I haven't listened to this artist too much; but I've liked some of her songs here. This one has a hypnotic vibe. I want orange juice now
19) I feel like you are going to be dragged for sending this song, mainly for the artist. I liked this album though and this song is nice. I like how it's propulsive, but still has a light touch.
20) Oh wow. This song is pretty great. I like the dancier direction; it almost sounds like a New Order song at times. Pretty great song.
21) Objectively, this song is alright. This ordinarily isn't my style but I can respect this, it's an alright song.

Overall, I liked this round. What else can I say?

Here are my reviews. I haven't finalized the rank yet, cause there are a few ties and a few songs I need to listen to again to make up my mind, but my opinion has pretty much been formed

SONG 01 : I love him and his eggplant, but NOT this song! The cheesiness of the lyrics on the chorus and then his voice sounding pitched and chipmunkish during the rap verses

SONG 02 : You took a risk sending a non-English song and I appreciate that. The track is SUCH a ****ing bop

SONG 03 : Great! Most of her album tracks are lacklustre, but this little gem is a bright exception

SONG 04 : you nailed it! This is one of her best songs ever, probably top 5

SONG 05 : YAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSS, he's so underrated and this should have been the second single of the album

SONG 06 : I like it. It's a good track and it has a good, strong chorus

SONG 07 : you took a huge risk and chose a good song. I respect your choice, but I don't necessarily like it.

SONG 08 : the fact that I stan for her worked against you, cause given that I know her discography well, I can definitely tell this is not even in the top 20 of her greatest album tracks in terms of lyrics, vocals, concept etc. I still gave you a good score cause she doesn't have any songs that I dislike, but you could easily have been my #1 with this artist had you chosen an actually remarkable song

SONG 09 : the chorus is so irresistible The lyrics in the verse are kinda bad But I ranked you extremely high cause the chorus had me bopping like my fave just got a solo top 10

SONG 10 : I dislike Bruno, but this is literally his best song so

SONG 11 : cute but generic and easily overshadowed by the standout tracks of this round

SONG 12 : it's cute, but completely unremarkable and the weakest of the 3 songs submitted by this artist

SONG 13 : I like some elements of the production, but it has no chorus, and much like song 12, it's the weakest song out of the 3 submitted by an already weak and overused artist

SONG 14 : it's cute, nothing spectacular, but nothing horrible either. It's a solid choice

SONG 15 : YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSS This is LITERALLY the only song by him that I've liked since 2006, maybe Cabaret too mostly because of Drake. You slayed my life. For ME to rank a song by this artist this high, it's truly a miracle and you did it The pre-chorus

SONG 16 : you took a risk with this artist. This is one of her best album tracks ever

SONG 17 : I love that you went in this direction. The song is beautiful

It's the only song to have a score under 6 in my revised rating. It'd have 5.5 if it wasn't for the chipmunk rapping serving Brooke Candy meets Young Thug meets Sophia Grace
