i think it's the perfect song for the united states honestly, they'd just have to really promote it here and i think it could take off for them both. it's that catchy pop with a bit of punk, that's perfect for the radio tbh

Agh!! This is so frustrating because it's growing on iTunes so fast now that its airplay is rising, but there's no promotion and its pre-order is almost up. I feel like if they had released it earlier or even pushed back the release again it would have a serious chance at the top 10 or even #1. But I guess I would feel bad for the UK fans who've had to suffer like a million push backs.

I wonder if it's unrealistic to hope she could release the album but keep Doing It album-only and then keep the single on pre-order for like another week or two.

That would be a good idea, but I think a massive promo would help a lot too. The single had a real chance to be a # 1 hit but just two weeks of pre-order killed that possibility.
