In May, I'd get home from school, have lunch, and play this song on my stereo. On repeat. Until I went to bed. My parents just cannot hear it anymore from how much I've played it, but it's so addicting and I just can't stop listening to it. It's obviously my favorite song of 2014, and I can do the Iggy rap quite well! PLAYS: 2,006
I don't understand what her vocal producers were thinking when they made this song. It's dreadful under every aspect. You can't get through it without getting a headache eventually. Plus, it falls completely flat.
The most boring moment on 'A.K.A.', you listen to it and after it's over you don't even remember what it sounds like. And I've listened to it at least five times.
Again, another song that gets me terribly bored each time. Nas sounds so annoying when he repeats "Carey like Mariah". The only positive thing about this song is the whistle at the end (they sound exactly like the music in Thalía's "I Want You" though).
'Sweet Talker' might have been a solid pop album, but it does have its downsides too. "Fire" is a headache worthy song with terrible production. It's like Jessie chose not to write all the worst songs on the album: "Loud", another track where she is not credited as a songwriter, would easily sit at #11 if this list included more than ten positions.
I love Ellie Goulding... well, I did until she turned into a generic EDM sell-out making annoying songs like "Burn" that do not value her voice at all. Some tracks even make her sound obnoxious and impossible to listen to, and "Heavy Crown" is easily one of these. Stay away from hip hop and go back to your roots, Ellie!

I think Heavy Crown should be Iggy's next single and I like Ellie's voice on it

it would probably chart well since Ellie is the most well-known artist Iggy has featured on a single so far
and I think Heavy Crown is the first track that sounds a little bit different from Iggy's past singles
something about Iggy's delivery + the instrumental + Ellie's vocals all make Heavy Crown flawless imo
