Despite how many people did or did not watch this, it doesn't change the fact that it was a RECORD BREAKING, 100 mill+ grossing tour. And that makes Bey a flop...how?

Obviously the low ratings doesn't mean that Bey is a flop and anyone who says that is definitely not being objective.

The ratings were low, lower than I expected but that doesn't take away from the fact that she has grossed over 300 million in touring in the past year and a half. People are here to see her live.

The people saying she's a flop are the ones so obviously waiting like rabid dogs for the rare second Beyonce does something slightly less than perfect so for once in their lives they can jump on it and pretend to themselves that their poor fave is better than Bey. Let them have this moment, we know this won't change anything in Bey's inevitable legacy.

It isn't going to change anything at all, the tour was a massive success and truthfully their HBO special did mediocre, it wasn't horrible or great. If anything, I'm just sad more people didn't get to realize how great Jay is live, I had no idea

And I bet HBO would offer her another tour special, too.

Yup. I'm definitely seeing him next tour - standing too! He's awesome live and I'm so glad seeing him this tour made me realise that!

I actually was planning on recording it and watching it later so I could fast forward through his parts

After I started watching I realized he was actually great live! TBH, I don't think a lot of Bey fans are here for Jay, at least they weren't.

how can y'all be bitter or happy about sth this irrelevant? I think Bey could care less whether she made 800000$ with that or less or more, and I bet theyre still happy about the whole event (even on HBOs stie). Nothing to get so hyped up about.

Too much overexposure. With the VMA performance, the weekly Beyonce X10 clips, the gossip of divorce and pregnancy, I think people just weren't here for another TV spectacle. Plus it was nearly 3 hours on a Saturday night so those played a factor too.

It happens against every artist. If it was Rihanna, Britney, Gaga, etc. that failed in the ratings, the BeyHive would be in there acting the exact same way the "haters" are in this thread. It's just the cycle of ATRL.
