First one was better but there were more action on this one.
Some thoughts:
Ultron feels like a non-threat, seemingly came out of nowhere and not connected to any of the previous stories or villains like Loki or Thanos. This is probably one part why the whole story feels like filler to me (even though Ultron is a real comics villain). You KNOW he's gonna get his ass handed to him by the end of the film, and you KNOw they're never going to reference him again in any of the future films.
There was a sense of conflict until
Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver joins sides with the Avengers, so it's basically 10 mighty heroes against Ultron and a bunch of mindless robots
I love though how they gave Hawkeye a bit more spotlight in this film. They need to show more that other Avenger are also interesting characters and not just give all the air time to Iron Man
The action scenes are top notch, plenty of 1v1 bouts and more explosions. I like especially Captain America and Iron Man fighting the boss and the final all out battle.
Overall, a solid 7/10. Though I need a better villain next time, or to be honest, just bring back Loki
All the action scenes in Sokovia were amazing, way better than the ones in New York. Ultron was defeated too easily, imo. It made the film feel like a side mission from the main infinity stone storyline.
If they don't bring him back it was a waste of the character. If they do, it's a tired plot device the used on Coulson last time.
It said this movie's plot is impossible to follow if you're not aware of the comics, amongst other things.
