Bingo. His views were a more extreme viewpoint that is ingrained in american culture.
A lot of what he said is actually an issue in this country.

I'm going to ignore the first half of your post just because "problematic and anti-feminist", the guy was mentally ill it has nothing to do with being "problematic and anti-feminist".

That being said, it's not just women who face those problems, men do too. Men are objectified all of the time but no one takes them seriously because according to society men have it easy and they're evil and they're all rapists and they have no feelings and what not, despite the fact that as of now women have more rights then men.

As for gun control, I will dig up some interesting facts on why it's a failure and edit this post. Also are you aware you are more likely to die by a knife then a gun? Even if we do make guns illegal, it still won't magically disappear. Do you know how easy it is to make and obtain a gun, even in countries where it's illegal?

I disregarded your first post because "problematic" and "anti-feminist" is thrown around so loosely these days anything can be considered problematic. I don't like the word "anti-feminist". Anyone who disagrees with feminist could be considered "anti-feminist" so using that word in a debate is really pointless.

Are you for real? Women have more rights than men? Um hello, society is still very much about keeping women on a lower level than men in a lot of ways. The whole reason men get categorized as rapists is because of people like this guy RIGHT HERE - people who think that because they toed the line more than others that they deserve some kind of reward from girls. Believe me, there's no problem in society of good girls believing they deserve to have a man by their side.

Men are NOT objectified the way women are in America and they are not limited the way women are. That is a cold, hard fact. Anyone who honestly doesn't see that is completely out of touch with reality.

Men aren't objectified in the same way that women are and haven't even been objectified AT ALL for as long as they have. Men do have it easy because we have this little thing called patriarchy instilled into our way of thinking, since birth basically, that makes it so. It makes it so people like you will feel threatened if not everyone in the world comes running for the protection of men and their rights because you feel "they're entitled" to it. Women to this day are STILL fighting for equal pay and rights. So no, they don't quite have the same rights us men do.

Yes, but that was then this is now...
