10. Tamar Braxton, Love and War
Surprise hit of the year for me. Really DIDNT expect to love this track this much. I find Tamar a little...cartoonish ( ) compared to Toni, so I didnt really think she would bring anything musically, but BOY was I wrong. Her voice just DRAGS you into this song. It's so soulful, and the emotion she puts into the song just . I hope she really sticks with this kind of music, cuz her more ballad / mid tempo songs SLAY her uptempo songs...

#26: "The One"

09. Rebecca Ferguson, I Hope
Rebecca SLAYED me in 2012 with her debut album, Heaven. However, as amazing as that album was, single wise it seemed to always be a struggle. That changed with "I Hope". Its a great bridge from Heaven and Freedom. Her vocals just slay on this more mid tempo song, and the drumps just bring it to another level. I love the progress that Rebecca has made, she REALLY knows WHAT she wants and how her voice works!

08. Lady Gaga f. R.Kelly, Do What U Want
This single speaks VOLUMES for me and Lady Gaga as of lately. During the Fame/Fame Monster eras, I usually LOVED her singles before the videos came out, but after Alejandro, it really took me some time to love her singles without a video. That changed with "Do What U Want". Without a video, this song has SLAYED me!. I love the hints of R&B in this track, but Gaga's voice adds this rockish kinda vibe that just brings this song to LIFE. NOW I just need that damn video

#25: "Applause"

Do What U Want
Counting Stars, Wrecking Ball, Mirrors, Perfume, Why Am I the One in the top 20
Underneath The Tree was my favorite song of Kelly last year. Her Christmas album was really good.
People Like Us is probably my least favorite single of her though
