While based on fairy tales this series is far enough from the saccharine Disney tales to be completely enjoyable. The plot switches comfortably between the fantasy world and that of Storybrook. In addition, the characters are completely three dimensional in both worlds while avoiding the horrific gender stereotypes that taint the diluted stories of our youth. These characters adopt the roles enforced on them in storybrook and are therefore somewhat different and very human. The writing is aided by the believable acting of the dual roles, particularly by Snow White

Honestly, I'm surprised that show lasted this long for a CW show. But t I think season 5 will be it's last. The first season of 90210 was bad, until the season finale. During season 2, the show improved MASSIVELY. The plots got better and more entwined and the season finale left many shocked. Season 3, though, was weird. The season wasn't bad, but it wasn't as dramatic as season 2. But luckily, it was renewed. The producers and creators must have known this, because season 4 was AMAZING. People should not take this show seriously though. It's just for entertainment.

The best game show of 2012. If you like seeing people making a fool out of themselves... then you should watch this! The show is hosted by Jaleel White (Steve Urkel). It places contestant in complete darkness to compete in challenges and it's hilarious. They have to touch or smell certain things and guess what it is.

One of the best from its kind of genre. It doesn't show American stupidity, or people who aim and miss at 10 meters of range, but it actually shows how people can work together to survive. Still i would like them show how it all began in one of future episodes. The story so far is absolutely amazing. From cities to outskirts of countryside, from big groups of flesh eaters to small groups of slow movers, and it is all about surviving.

My favorite reality show in 2012 was Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta. This show was one of the highest rated VH1 shows since the 2nd season of Flavor of Love. It's a guilty pleasure. Can't wait for season 2.

My favorite NEW show of 212 is Nashville.The story lines have tons of potential and the music gets better and better. Its different than a lot of the TV shows out there, it's not the same old, same old. Hayden Panetierre is amazing, and so is Connie Britton. I watched the first four episodes back to back. I love that the characters actually have personalities and aren't just different versions of each other, like the characters in so many other shows. It's not centered on sex, the writing is fabulous, witty, and believable. The people seem 'real', like you understand what's driving them. You don't have to be a country music fan to watch this show and this show reminds me of that Gwenth Paltrow movie where she plays a country singer who is on drugs.

Another NEW show I liked this year is Scandal and it's my # 1 show of 2012. This show is just incredible, brilliantly written, directed, and acting-- I have been on the edge of my seat from the opening scene until the credits. I hope that this show gains fans and ratings. I know I'm telling all of my friends to watch! The casting is rock solid. Casting Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope is inspired. Tony Goldwin as the POTUS is incredibly powerful. The chemistry between the two of them is amazingly hot. I'm eager to learn more of their back story as well as that of the other characters.

The third and final bonus TV show for this update is Pretty Little Liars. From the first episode I was hooked. This became my new guilty pleasure and it sometimes hurts waiting for the next episode every week. I have never read the books, and I don't want to start now in fear that I'll spoil it for myself.
