CHART FOR WEEK ENDING NOVEMBER 29TH
Chart Beat (Chart Summaries):
- "Last Christmas" finally ends the curse of a new #1 per week, spending a 2nd week atop the summit. It also hits Platinum, becoming Ari ha 5th Platinum single of 2013 I believe (the others would be The Way, Baby I, Lovin' It, and Right There).
- HYPED DEBUTS: The chart witnesses a Male Teen Pop takeover, with Austin Mahone getting a 3rd entry with "Banga! Banga!" sweeping at #2, which also ties "What About Love" as his highest effort. Justin comes in closely, with "Roller Coaster" at #3 giving him a 7th entry on the Hyped Top 10 and making him 2nd in males with most entries, only behind Drake. Britney Spears lands a debut at #9, with "Tik Tik Boom" following "Ooh La La" and "Scream & Shout" as her 3rd entry, and first from her 8th album.
Behind The Scans (Sales Summaries):
-"Birthday" becomes the first 2x platinum single in weeks, and hops up the chart back into the Top 5 ironically on the Birthday of my charts.
-Despite a steep drop, "Fashion!" hits Platinum with 200,000 points this week, following 2 consecutive weeks of 400,000.

- Early December I assume ATRL will launch Best of 2013, meaning my Year-End Lists will be compiled in a few weeks.

CHART FOR WEEK ENDING DECEMBER 6TH
NEW ALBUMS CHART:
Chart Beat (Chart Summaries):
- "Last Christmas" is dethroned from a 2 week streak, by the only one at this point who can dethrone Ariana Grande --- Ariana Grande, herself. "Snow In California" becomes her 6th #1 single, as it dethrones her 5th #1 "Snow In California" which dethroned her 4th #1 "Piano". She obviously, becomes the first artist to replace themself at #1 twice consecutively.
-"ARTPOP" opens at #1 on the re-vamped albums chart, which was lasted made December 7, 2012. A nice ironic time to revamp it, huh? All of the titles are new, except for "Warrior" which charted 2 weeks last year - peaking at #1 for a week. "Confessions" and "The Singles Collection" are albums released out of 2013, which also brings us to a new rule -- that allows any albums to chart on this new re-vamp. Hopefully the albums chart lasts this time.
- HYPED DEBUTS: With the #1 debut of "Snow In California", Sevyn Streeter also lands her 4th chart entry with "Come On Over" and her new album "Call Me Crazy, But..." which debut at #3 and #4 respectively.
Behind The Scans (Sales Summaries):
-Half of the singles chart becomes Gold this week, which I guess you could say is a sign of growth from the previous weeks clustered with many debuts. For the race to Platinum, it seems "Sexxx Dreams" at 800,000 units is likely especially with it's rise in listens. Ariana could also scan Platinum if she holds a 2nd week at the #1 position.
- Lady Gaga celebrates certifications on both charts, with "ARTPOP" going Gold due to it's week at #1, while "Warrior" goes Platinum in it's 3rd week. The chart key for units on albums remains: #1 - 500,000 / #2 - 400,000 / #3 - 300,000 / #4 - 200,000 / #5 - 100,000.
