Lucky Strike is an unescapable PURE pop song.
I played it to all ages people and even my dad who's 70 years old said it was impossible to not like it.
On any radio, it would be just massive.
That reminiscent notes of "Grease" mainline clicks with brains.

Doin' Dirt is also a great song but it's darker as texture and lyrics.

Lucky Strike is just a playful, happy, groovy song.

Nothing deep, but sexy and charming enough to appeal to nearly everybody.

They would be crazy not using it.

Which makes me fear, because I see it happening nonetheless

The problem with Lucky strike is that is easily forgettable, I can't see it having good longevity. I think Love Somebody would be a better choice, it's catchy, but meaningful and has Maroon 5 written all over it

I agree with you. I think "Love Somebody" would make a great radio single.

I think that "Doin' Dirt" would be a decent radio single. I must be the only person who isn't overly jazzed about "Sad." I don't hate the song. To me, it's just meh.

It's an angry ballad and has that little overdramatic intro... but then all about its emotional impact stays in the muttering and mumbling Adam does, which I find very expressive, wordless nonetheless, in the musical bridge.

I like the fact it's not a so obvious song.

And that it totally depicts a real day in the life he had.

I can't wait for its video to be honest.

I think sometime around late October; so that they can perform it on the live rounds of The Voice in November and promote it around, being finally in the USA. But no confirmation yet. The only new thing we know is that now the Daylight project experimental video is open to no-us based people too (which probably means the video won't be completed either before 3rd week of October at least).

I really like that song but there is absolutely no way a bonus track becomes a single. that is a way to sell the Deluxe version over the standard (and it's working well as commercial steategy actually).

Why not? "Super Bass" and "Ours" are bonus tracks.
