"MLJ" is #1 because it's a catchy Pop song, and it's gotten maximum exposure through The Voice and Maroon 5's further high profile promotion.

Maybe they couldn't get her old songs to number one? because after the voice everyone was talking about her, etc.
Because I've seen tons of Christina fans requesting MLJ and helping it. Just don't deny the fact that they actually helped the song.
