I find it hard to believe that Christina is the reason or mainly the reason for the success of MLJ considering how irrelevant she has been in recent history, especially compared to Maroon 5. And like Rico pointed out, her fans didn't seem desperate enough to get her own hits at #1. That would be a much bigger achievement for Christina and her fans. The song is doing well because it's "good," and The Voice was a great platform for both Adam and Christina.
