That's the sad part about Idol. They're rushed to create an album before folks forget about them.

I'm as impatient as anybody, but I don't have a problem with waiting for Haley to perfect her album.
Like you said, all those Idols from previous seasons always seem like they have to rush their album out. Strike while the iron's hot.. I don't believe in that...That's why they fail more times than not because that first album isn't nearly as good as it could've been if they would've taken their time to make it sound right...
When you're rushing the release date, the songs are usually not original. They're probably songs that weren't even written for you, likely rejected by the artists in the industry that have already made it. These songs given to you don't fit you as an artist. The public doesn't buy into it. Album flops. Career flops. Hard to recover from a bad first album. First impression is quite important.
Example: Alison Iraheta. Poor girl... so talented but the producers tried to make her something she's not. Her first album was bad. Flops.. label drops her.. I hear she's still working on a second album, but I'm not sure if her career will recover..
So Haley will be out of the spotlight for awhile. Yeah that sucks, but if means a better product, I ain't complainin. So some casual people may forget about her, but as long as Interscope promotes her well, it won't matter. If it's good music and is promoted well, people will buy it. The cream always rises to the top. She's not just a singer. She's an artist. Art takes time.
