| "TEENAGE DREAM"
KATY PERRY
"Let's go all the way tonight. No regrets, just love." ♫
53 Days | Peak @ 01[6]
2009: Taylor Swift, "White Horse"
Appearing for third and last time in the Top 20 is poprock sensation Katy Perry. "Teenage Dream" is the superior among her singles off her second album. It's synthpop vibe is very appealing and the vocals are amazing. | | "TRY SLEEPING WITH A BROKEN HEART"
ALICIA KEYS
"Have you ever tried sleeping with a broken heart? Well, you could try sleeping in my bed." ♫

2009: Taylor Swift, "Fifteen"
Maybe nobody remembered how awesome TSWABH performed on my c/d. It was melodramatic, emotional and full of feelings. Alicia's vocals were superb and the lyrics are heartbreaking. Too bad it was 9 days short to reach the honor roll. | | "ANGELS CRY (REMIX)"
MARIAH CAREY f/ NE-YO
"Didn't treat you right, but it was okay. I did something stupid but you're still staying with me." ♫

2009: Lady Gaga, "Paparazzi"
I've always been a fan of Mariah - whether she sings uptempo R&B tracks and of course, ballads. "Angels Cry" is definitely one of her R&B singles and the inclusion of Ne-Yo made it more epic and outstanding. Waiting for her next album. | | "PYRAMID"
CHARICE f/ IYAZ
"Earthquakes can't shake us. Cyclones can't break us. Hurricanes can't take away our love." ♫
115 Days | Peak @ 01[21] | HONOR ROLL
2009: Lady Gaga, "Poker Face"
Despite being the second best performing song on my c/d (behind "Love Story"), Charice failed to crack into the Top 5 this year. Overplaying, I guess. Anyways, this song is a smash. It was a extremely catchy and the metaphors are awesome. | | "FEARLESS"
TAYLOR SWIFT
"It's the first kiss, it's flawless, really something. It's fearless." ♫
100 Days | Peak @ 01[2] | HONOR ROLL
2009: Beyonce, "Sweet Dreams"
The final single off "Fearless" managed to reach the honor roll status but failed to make it into the Top 5 this year. "Fearless" might not be one of the best songs off Taylor's sophomore album but it's still worthy enough to achieve its feat. |
Top 5 tomorrow. Who's in?
