I find those stomp clap beats to be really banal and played out. I feel like they're violating my personal space by just "begging" for me to stomp and clap along, as if it's some sort of stadium anthem, and I simply can not get down with that kind of insolence. But I'll damn the song with some faint praise by admitting that there aren't any cringeworthy lyrics in the song, which is unusual for her lately.
