A reminder on how bonuses are working this season:

Bonuses return this season, but they will be earned in a different manner. They will also be somewhat more scarce. In the inaugural season, bonuses were earned by being one of the first to successfully complete a challenge. This season, some challenges will have "bonus components" where the first few people to complete the component along with the rest of the challenge win the bonus. However, completion of the component is not required to complete the challenge, so players will have to decide whether going after the bonus is worth their time or if they want to try to secure a large points haul.

Can we complete the challenge and then do the bonus component?
Like send the main challenge first, and then do the bonus part?

No. You either send in the challenge with the bonus component or the challenge without the bonus component.

If you're one of the first few to do the bonus component, you'll get a bonus. Additionally, you'll earn points as you normally would.

The idea is that people will have to make a decision with regards to whether they're going to go for the bonus (and potentially risk losing out on points because they'll finish later than others) or whether they're going to try and place high and get lots of points but not get the bonus.
