She can have those weeks in the 5-10 range with that already-dated generic dance song while Iggy's historic #1 single continues to break more records and become one of the biggest female collaborations of all time. Iggy's accent alone on Fancy is more impactful and iconic than Starships and Super Bass
Nicki pretty much shaded Iggy. She didn't thank all her competition in the category..and then said had the nerve to say "No shade." Either way, we'll see when the VMAS and Grammy's roll around. I lost a little respect for Nicki, with her ill will, not dissing some of her infectious bops. But the billboard charts speaks for itself, as in, who's number one right now. Clapback.
It's not about overall, it's about THIS YEAR. 2014. Nicki's throwaway buzz singles don't cut it, sorry. Iggy worked just as hard as her and found success. She should have been rewarded.
