My biggest issue with this long wait for CL's music isn't the wait itself. It's that anything recorded in 2014 is going to sound dated, even stuff from 2015 will rap is very stuck on trends and timeless productions are rare to none. At this rate all her old music will be scrapped for a new album, which is frustrating.

omg CL is wasting her youth...at this point she will struggle even more to debut in the US
Just saying this as a fan of Kpop that knows very well how English debuts go. Don't even expect them to actually try. She's still very much bound by her Korean label. Even with Scooter Braun involved. So many English debuts have been promised and in the making for both 2NE1 and CL, hell even Girl's Generation. They often don't happen, or if they do they're subpar.

Ya I know that they tend to be subpar or never come to fruition but with CL I had high hopes for some odd reason. I thought she'd be the exception because she had so much potential...just read somewhere that she recently renewed her YG contract as a solo artist too...this freaks me out because it indicates to me that she has no plans on working on 2NE1 record and no plans on working on releasing an american/english release.

I realllllyyyy don't believe it even tho it's from yg themselves. they've been saying "she is coming soon" for like an entire year. they've said she has a mv recorded, they said she has the singles in mind etc... I need to take away the hype in my head so i won't be disappointed in 4 months when nothing is out (as expected)
