hotly contested semifinal round, our championship showdown is finally set. The two match-ups each pitted a beloved '80s classic against a contemporary favorite, and in both cases,
the veteran hit fell short—but just barely. Though it easily beat all previous opponents by double,
#1 "Hey Ya!" was pushed to the limit by #4 "Billie Jean" before ultimately prevailing. And #1 "Like a Prayer" saw its early runaway lead slowly diminish, eventually losing to
#1 "Crazy in Love" by a single vote.
