I looked for their album on the top 100 and it was nowhere to be found and I looked for their song in the top 50 (hot 100) and yet again it was nowhere to be found. If they really had a huge fan base don't you think they would have been able to give them a spot in the top 30 of each chart I mentioned?

Also, didn't you say that if they made it to #1 Xtina and Beyonce wouldn't be able to beat them? If you did then you are implying that they have a larger fan base then Xtina and Beyonce (one of the posters said it, and I don’t remember if it was you).

We dont know who'll be the first to leave. And pliz! the fact that they're in a higher position right now, after the others have like 30 days doesnt mean they can be compared. Nelly will reach gold in less that 2 months, now thats a good fanbase

I think Nelly Furtado will go platinum either in the 5th or 6th week, remember certification mean how much they've shipped to stores not how many copies they've sold. Mariah Carey's album has sold 5.6 million and she's certified 6x platinum. Also, being higher on a countdown doesn't mean they have a larger fan base, it most likely means that more of their fans are actually voting and that more of her fans actually watch the show.
