What's to prevent radios from snubbing End of Time from fair radio play? It's certainly not a generic electro/pop hit. There's no telling if they'll eat it up.

Well there isn't really a connection between the two. The alternate version, is much better. It shows that her man gets killed by people and she finds him later dead and between all that you see Beyoncé and her man having fun, like a flashback at their beautiful relationship. And the official music video is just a her and her man being in love. I really wished she used the alternate version because that one was much better imo.
