Aaron is not in love with or care about Hilary. You know why? Because he goes back and forth between Hilary and Lindsay. I've noticed this is what he does to get attention. In 2003 and 2004, when Hilary's career was really kicking off, he'd talk about Hilary and how he cares for her. When Mean Girls came out and Lindsay started getting press suddenly it was Lindsay who he'd talk about. He said he loved her and that he was just having fun with Hilary and it was nothing more than that. When Lindsay started getting in trouble and getting bad press he switched back to Hilary and started giving her compliments in interviews and talking about how she was his one real love. Whoever is getting press or isn't fading away at the moment is who he uses.
I'm not sure you know the back story of Aaron's family, but they have major issue. His father and mother had marital problems, his father was abusive, and his mother used him and Nick for money. Actually it's the only reason they are even in the business, because their mother put them in it to make money, it was forced on them. Their father is also an alcoholic. It's not just Aaron with issues - it's his entire family. They don't even talk to their parents anymore. Hanging out with Hilary wouldn't change anything, this kid had issues from the start. A pre-teen "romance" wouldn't have changed his life in any way.
Joel wasn't on drugs when he met Hilary, he stopped ealier than that on his own. I know Hilary had a good influence on him, but she's not the reason he gave up his lifestyle or the reason he stayed away from it. It was actually his brother who quit his addiction first and he followed in his footsteps, because their dad had a drinking problem and they seen how bad it messed up their family.
Anyway, back to Aaron. Hilary and Lindsay aren't the only ones who he tries to get attention off of. When Miley first came to twitter, he started tweeting about his crush on her and talking to her and when she'd tweet him back all her fans would follow him and talk to him. Cut to now, he's been tweeting Demi and telling her he has a crush on her and her fans are talking to him and following him now, too. He has faked an engagement twice already. He likes attention. He can't get it in any other way than to talk about celebs or get in trouble.
Also, writing a song doesn't make you in love with someone. Funny no one cared until he decided to say it was about Hilary. I don't think anyone should take the Hilary - Aaron time that seriously. I think Hilary's actual and real first BF was Alanna's brother, Jordan. And Joel was her first love and first relationship, as stated by Hilary herself.

Yeah, I know the whole backstory on Aaron, didn't know that he was tweeting Miley and Demi about how he had crushes on them, that is really creepy. Oh, I am NOT taking the Hilary-Aaron time seriously at all. In my mind Aaron just seems addicted to the press and using Hilary's name to benefit his career which has been over for quite some time, so I was just stating my thoughts, I know my original post on this topic may not make complete sense to you at all but a lot of people feel the same way I do. Poor Jordan, Hilary dated him so fast and then he was out of there. Anyway, I am glad Hilary is happy now with Mike and I hope their marriage stands the test of time, some Hilary stans hate Mike and tweet her about how she needs to divorce him and go back to Aaron, it makes me cringe.

If you think he cares about her and they had something more going on, that's your opinion and it's fine. I re-read my comment and it sounds like I'm getting mad at you, which I wasn't. Sorry if it came off bitchy. It was not my intention.

And people have no reason to not like Mike, he has done nothing for that, and they act like they even know him enough to know if he's a good or bad guy. You didn't come off as bitchy at all, you were stating how you felt about Aaron and I was simply doing the same thing, that is what this forum is for and you even said some things about Aaron that I didn't know because I don't follow his career or Twitter in any aspect unless he metions Hilary in an interview.

Hilary's fans on Twitter for the most part of really uneducated, I run a fanpage for her so I mostly see everything they say about her and tweet her. Hilary has metioned several types that she is going to start an album soon but they spam her daily, especially when she tweets, asking for a new album, they even tweet Haylie and her assistant/best friend Sommer and ask them when Hilary is starting a new album. They have YET to realize that Hilary is NOT even signed to a record label and they think she can pop out an album before the end of the year. They also try to get pointless Trending Topics going like #HilaryDuffNewAlbum, they don't understand the concept of promotion at all and that is going to play a big part in the sales of her next album.
Yeah, people like act like Hilary is a 16 year old girl not capable of making any choices on her own, they think Mike is holding her back because she traveled to see him in Pittsburgh this year, they are just foolish. Hilary has been pretty smart with her career choices even if though I don't agree with them all I think in the long run, they will prove to be very good for her and will help more people take her seriously.

This one is very true. Hilary makes very good decisions that so far has contributed to what she has been into right now. She's taking it slowly but surely, and I'm here for that. I love that she challenges herself to try something new every once in a while.

The only thing I thank Aaron Carter, is that thanks to the feud between Lindsay and Hilary about him. I fell in love more than Hilary and Lindsay as they were rivals

I want her to do a dramatic mainstream movie where she is part of an ensemble, that way people will see the movie for a change and she can prove herself as an actress because the critics are already taking notes that Hilary can handle serious roles. I am interested in hearing more about the movie she has to shoot in September also.

Yes! I laugh so hard when people call Hilary local. Hilary has more fans and her music gets more support in Italy, Mexico, and Brazil than here in the US. People have NO clue about her career and they are always quick to judge. After being shoved in people's faces for about five years with all her projects Hilary decided she wanted to take a break and I give her props for that. If she can (I KNOW she can) comeback bigger and stronger with the next album then her break was totally worth it. I rather her comeback with a refresh attitude and ready to prove herself than releasing albums with no growth just to make a quick buck.

Enjoy the movie! Hilary impressed me and I thought she did really well with her accent, sometimes I forget she is from the south because her voice can easily be defined as a California girl but you really don't detect any Southern aspects in her voice, it's ONE scene where her mom tells her something and Hilary just gives a look and it breaks your heart. I don't want to spoil anything so I hope you figure out what I am referring to.
Anyway, one of my friends asked me the other day what did I think Hilary's next album will sale in it's first week of release. It was really hard for me to say because we have NO news on the album but I hope she can get 100-130k, what do you all think?

This is true. It's funny how people will argue to no end that no one cares about her (not just now but even back then when she was in the middle of her success), because they don't anything about her beyond LM, and they refuse to even listen when you try to correct them. People are so clueless about every aspect of her career and personality. They don't understand that she doesn't care about fame or popularity and usually does things the opposite of what a normal celebrity would do because it's rare that anyone in the business would shy away from the spotlight. They just assume she was kicked off her label and isn't in mainstream films because she isn't getting hired.

I love talking to people who GET Hilary and understand her career and personality like me, your post is flawless. I am going to touch on the personality aspect because that is one of the things I try to tell my friends all the time about Hilary because they call her boring and basic. People seem to think of Hilary is a goodie two shoes but Hilary is very sarcastic and funny, you can read her interviews and see that. One of the reasons I love Hilary is that she NEVER claimed to be anything, she never talked her sex life, politics, reglion, she just was who she was and people thought "Oh she's the Disney Channel queen, she must be THIS type of way." Hilary is known for swearing and drinking like a sailor but because people have it programmed into their minds that she is "The Hilary Duff" they don't even get to understand who the REAL Hilary is.
Hilary has always been smart about her career and her personal life choices. Notice she doesn't have a lot of celeb friends (she hangs out with Ashley Tisdale and people like that) but she has a small group of people around her who care about HER for HER and not what they can get out of her.

Her and Mike are on vacation, since Mike didn't get to go with her to Paris eariler this year, they are doing some traveling before she has to shoot the movie in September, promote Devoted, and start working on music.

I actually enjoy that she doesn't throw her beliefs in people's faces. When the new kids came out all they talked about were their virginity rings. How Disney just happened to employ 6 people that all decided to not have sex before marriage and wore rings is odd to me. And I think it was Miley who preached in every interview about her christian views and how she's "a good southern girl." But that can backfire and you end up looking bad later when things change. Sometimes celebrities should keep the mystery, in my opinion.
